Blues Fest – My Favorite Picture

This is by far my favorite picture of Madi this year. We had so much fun at the Blues Fest – I could not stop smiling! She danced with everyone and behaved better than I could have expected. She made friends with so many people.
At one point my friend Susan suggested that I take her up closer to the stage to dance. As we were walking I noticed that 3 entire rows of people were clapping and cheering for Madi.
On the way back to our seats several people stopped us to tell Madi that it was a joy to watch her dance. She was beaming! She loved the music and she told me she can’t wait until next year. I can’t wait either because that means another weekend with a great friend who I miss already!
