The only thing I miss since moving is the Internet and I miss it badly. I didn’t realize how much I have come to rely on it, to need it and need it in such a way that I feel part of me is missing. It is not the Internet really, just my blog. This is soothing to me and I have really needed to write so many things.Â
Today I took the day off and I have been at Chris’ shop uploading photos, reading e-mail and finally writing! Ahhhhh…my old friend how I have missed you so. Too bad I don’t have much time but I will be back.
At the moment we have no access to high speed internet at the new place. Our only two options are turtle net or satelite and I refuse to go back to the dark ages or pay out the ass for the Internet. Although I may have to work something out soon because I really need this. I obviously can’t do this at work and I don’t trust the “post from email” option because I know some troll would end up hacking my address and you would find posts about Viagra and wonder what the hell was going on.
So for now this is it. This one little post about nothing. I have been writing down little snippets of things to remember to post here when I get access to a computer and low and behold I left the damn thing at home. There are so many things that I post used to post here the list is getting very long.
So here is a quick list from memory that I will eloborate on later. It’s exciting stuff and I know you will all be on the edge of your seats just waiting to hear the rest of the story:
- Maddie turned 3!
- Strange Days
- Donkey Update
- The chickens and guineas will NOT die
- Life in the country
- The day the well went dry while I was in the shower
- How lucky I am to have a photographer in the family who takes awesome pictures of my daughter that I will some day post to this blog. You will all surely die from all the sugary cuteness!
- I am going to be an Aunt again! And it’s a…not telling you yet because there has to be some suspense. (although everyone who reads this already knows the answer to this one)
- Did I mention that Maddie is THREE? She is THREE! And she is tall and smart and I have so many stories to tell about her.Â
Damn you SBC! Why must you make the country folk suffer with your lack of Internet coverage? Why must I suffer?!
